ANNOUNCEMENT OF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE, ACADEMIC YEAR 2024
Dear students of the Faculty of Computer Science, the scholarship fund of the Faculty of Computer Science is designed for students studying at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Information Technology, to support students in difficult circumstances and to encourage studying and research.
Selected students will receive scholarships in the form of partial tuition fee support for the academic year. This year, the scholarship fund of the Faculty of Computer Science plans to award 10 scholarships to students of the Faculty with the following specific criteria:
1. Target and number of scholarships:
Target group 1:
Students of the Faculty of Computer Science facing difficult circumstances, affected by natural disasters, floods, epidemics, or from poor households.
Scholarship value (tentative): 8,000,000 VND (eight million VND) for one scholarship.
Target group 2:
Students of the Faculty of Computer Science with good academic results and outstanding research achievements.
Scholarship value (tentative): 4,000,000 VND (four million VND) for one scholarship.
2. Application requirements for scholarship consideration:
Target group 1:
Average study score for the academic year from 6.0 or higher.
Priority is given to students who have not received other scholarships from the University. Students who have received other scholarships from the University can still apply for this scholarship.
Required documents include:
A letter explaining the student’s circumstances submitted to the Faculty Administration.
An essay of no more than 1,000 words on the topic “My Life Perspective, Dreams, and Future Career Plan” submitted to the Faculty Administration.
Other documents (if any):
A confirmation document proving the family is in the poor or difficult category from local authorities.
A confirmation document of participation in Faculty, University, community, and social activities.
Other achievements during the academic year.
Target group 2:
Average study score for the academic year from 7.5 or higher.
Priority is given to students who have not received other scholarships from the University. Students who have received other scholarships from the University can still apply for this scholarship.
Required documents include:
An essay of no more than 1,000 words on the topic “My Life Perspective, Dreams, and Future Career Plan” submitted to the Faculty Administration.
Other documents (if any):
A confirmation document of participation in Faculty, University, community, and social activities.
Other achievements during the academic year.
